Bio
We live by 4 words: Fuck it we ball. Based in Austin, TX Dose Rose was founded in Bloomington, IN mere weeks before the world shut down in 2020, beginning their journey with a painful hiatus before finally reuniting and trying to navigate a decimated music scene. Since, they established themselves as a staple of Indiana's rock scene, expanded to regional and national markets, and relocated to Austin, TX. Riley Huffman (Lead Vocals, Bass) and John Sadler (Drummer) recruited Vinny Greene (Vocals, Guitar) following the dissolving of their previous band. Dose Rose's sound is heavily influenced by alt rock from the 90's and early 00's including Foo Fighters, Paramore, and Alice in Chains. Although, if you asked everyone for their favorite artists, you would get an incredibly diverse list including Post Malone, Sir Chloe, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, Mac Miller, and Jimmy Eat World. All of which contributes to their unique sound. Their latest project, "What if I," marked the end of Dose Rose's tenure in Indiana. These tracks are a half-decade culmination of Riley's brooding lyrics and unique melodies, John's earth-shattering power behind the kit, and Vinny's driving melodic riffs. Their upcoming EP is set to release in mid 2026.
